Tuesday Clinic

Today started out with devotions and breakfast. We had another great day. We did over 300 lab tests, saw hundreds of patients, and the dentists pulled 84 teeth. We have handed out over 1,000 prescriptions already. Tomorrow, part of the team heads to Holland and the dentists will stay at Cambridge. The weather has been beautiful and the people make us feel really humble to be able to help so many. We're looking forward to tomorrow. Post a comment and let us know what you think of our progress!

Monday Clinic

Monday morning the team met for devotions at 7 a.m. and then had a great breakfast before heading to the Cambridge Church. This was "logo day" for the team members and everyone wore their colors. (Missouri was well represented.) Stewart Crowe celebrated his birthday today as well. We saw hundreds of patients and the dentists extracted over 60 teeth. Everyone pitched in to make things run smoothly and we are looking forward to another busy day at Cambridge tomorrow.

Worship and Setup

Today, we had an early breakfast at Invercauld and then drove to Cambridge Church for a very uplifting worship with our friends from Cambridge and Holland churches. Afterwards, we had coffee brunch with several members and then worked on packaging medicines for this week. Later, we transported all of the medicine to the church and set up the pharmacy and the dental clinics for work starting tomorrow morning. Had a relaxing meal at Invercauld in the evening and look forward to a wonderful week at Black River!

Arrived Safely!

The team left St. Joseph at 5 a.m. for the airport on January 26. We left KCI around 7:30 a.m. and arrived in Jamaica safely at 2:30 p.m. It took over three hours to get through Customs. We then stopped at a local restaurant called Jerky's for dinner and arrived at Invercauld in Black River around 8 p.m. It was 82 degrees when we landed in Jamaica. We brought about 50 bags of luggage between personal items, medicine, toys and hats for the clinic this week.
